The International Cancer Prevention Institute (ICPI) has set up an agreement with the Health Sciences eTraining (HSeT) Foundation, a non for profit organisation with in depth expertise in e-learning platforms, to create an advanced master degree program in cancer prevention. The program is to be structured as follows :
- Establishment of an eTraining website with a Content and a Learning Management System to offer content and learning activities in relation with various aspects of cancer prevention :
- Genetics and Epigenetics
- Gender Medicine
- Human Populations and evolution studies
- Epidemiology
- Public Health Economics
- Science Policy and Communication
- A curriculum leading to a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) and Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) structured in the following modules:
- Module 1: Genetics and Epigenetics
- Module 2: Gender Medicine
- Module 3 :Human populations and evolution
- Module 4 :Epidemiology
- Module 5 :Public Health Economics
Each module leads to a DAS. The MAS includes the 5 DAS and a thesis project.
